Does your club, band or business need graphics? You’re in the right place…and I’m available.
A few years ago I took a swing at creating my own concert posters. I didn’t know the “rules” and my expectations were low, but I had the classic art right in front of me for inspiration, having been a collector for decades and staring at my collection across from me on the wall literally every time I sit down at my computer.
My preference is for the classic posters of San Francisco’s Avalon Ballroom and Fillmore Auditorium, created by iconic artists like Alton Kelly, Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, and my favorite, Victor Moscoso. I also have a taste for more modern pieces from Emek, Mississippi Mike Wolf, Frank Kozik and Zoltron. Below are a few of the mash-ups I created in my graphics studio, “Silvertone Exploits.” Hope you like them. Click to enlarge.

NOTE: None of these shows are real. They never happened. Many of the bands are simply made up, too. Some, though, are partly based on real shows. Go figure.
